Potentilla hololeuca merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye hingga Xinjiang dan Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Potentilla hololeuca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1843.
