Pourouma bicolor merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Urticaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Chiapas), Belize, hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Pourouma bicolor diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1843.
