Praxelis grandiflora merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Praxelis grandiflora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1866.
