Primula capillaris merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ruby mountain primrose. Nama ilmiah Primula capillaris diperkenalkan oleh Noel Herman Holmgren pada tahun 1974.
