Prionosciadium thapsoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Prionosciadium thapsoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1936.
