Pritchardia thurstonii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Fiji timur (Sovu Islets, Vulaga, Ogea), Tonga ('Eua). Nama ilmiah Pritchardia thurstonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1887.
