Protea aurea subsp. potbergensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Proteaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Protea aurea subsp. potbergensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Patrick Rourke pada tahun 1979.
