Protea mundii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Proteaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape selatan. Nama ilmiah Protea mundii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Friedrich Klotzsch pada tahun 1838.
