Prunella vulgaris subsp. hispida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari India selatan, Assam, hingga China bagian selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Prunella vulgaris subsp. hispida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1971.
