Prunus arborea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan Malesia hingga Papua. Nama ilmiah Prunus arborea diperkenalkan oleh Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1965.
