Prunus gentryi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko utara dan timur. Nama ilmiah Prunus gentryi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1937.
