Prunus havardii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan havard's plum. Nama ilmiah Prunus havardii diperkenalkan oleh William Franklin Wight pada tahun 1913.
