Prunus hypoxantha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Qinghai hingga China (W Sichuan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Prunus hypoxantha diperkenalkan oleh Bernhard Adalbert Emil Koehne pada tahun 2010.
