Prunus koelzii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Afghanistan. Nama ilmiah Prunus koelzii diperkenalkan oleh Kazimierz Browicz pada tahun 1969.
