Prunus lusitanica subsp. azorica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Azores. Nama ilmiah Prunus lusitanica subsp. azorica diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Mouillefert pada tahun 1965.
