Prunus pogonostyla var. obovata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China timur, Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Prunus pogonostyla var. obovata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bernhard Adalbert Emil Koehne pada tahun 1912.
