Prunus subcordata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon hingga California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan klamath plum. Nama ilmiah Prunus subcordata diperkenalkan oleh George Bentham pada tahun 1849.
