Prunus subcoriacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Prunus subcoriacea diperkenalkan oleh Robert Hippolyte Chodat pada tahun 1915.
