Prunus × syriaca adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah naturally occuring between the native dan naturalised parents. Nama ilmiah Prunus × syriaca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Moritz (Moriz) Balthasar Borkhausen pada tahun 1803.
