Psephellus pulcherrimus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye timur dan timur laut hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Psephellus pulcherrimus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 2000.
