Psephellus trinervius merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rumania hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Psephellus trinervius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Friedrich Stephan pada tahun 2000.
