Psorospermum corymbiferum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Uganda barat. Nama ilmiah Psorospermum corymbiferum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bénédict Pierre Georges Hochreutiner pada tahun 1919.
