Psorospermum guineense merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Psorospermum guineense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bénédict Pierre Georges Hochreutiner pada tahun 1919.
