Psorospermum lanatum merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guinea hingga Uganda barat. Nama ilmiah Psorospermum lanatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bénédict Pierre Georges Hochreutiner pada tahun 1919.
