Psorospermum orientale merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kenya tenggara hingga Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Psorospermum orientale pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 2018.
