Psychotria ampla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Psychotria ampla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1881.
