Psychotria cookei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Society (Raiatea). Nama ilmiah Psychotria cookei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John William Moore pada tahun 1963.
