Psychotria hobdyi merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Kauai). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan milolii kopiwai. Nama ilmiah Psychotria hobdyi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Seymour Hans Sohmer pada tahun 1977.
