Psychotria multiplex merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Psychotria multiplex diperkenalkan oleh Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1881.
