Psydrax subcordatus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Psydrax subcordatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1985.
