Pteranthus dichotomus merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering. Nama ilmiah Pteranthus dichotomus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1775.
