Pteris arborea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Pteridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan tree brake. Nama ilmiah Pteris arborea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
