Pterocactus tuberosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk semak dan memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Argentina. Nama ilmiah Pterocactus tuberosus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Louis (Ludwig) Karl Georg Pfeiffer pada tahun 1919.
