Pterocactus valentini adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Pterocactus valentini pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlo Luigi (Carlos Luis) Spegazzini pada tahun 1899.
