Pterocephalus porphyranthus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Caprifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kepulauan Kanaria (La Palma). Nama ilmiah Pterocephalus porphyranthus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eric R. Svensson Sventenius pada tahun 1969.
