Pterolepis trichotoma adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Meksiko, kawasan tropis Amerika selatan, hingga Trinidad. Nama ilmiah Pterolepis trichotoma pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christen Friis Rottbøll pada tahun 1885.
