Pterostylis rufa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New South Wales hingga Victoria. Nama ilmiah Pterostylis rufa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1810.
