Pterygota bureavii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Pterygota bureavii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Baptiste Louis Pierre pada tahun 1889.
