Pterygota macrocarpa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Pterygota macrocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1900.
