Ptilostemon leptophyllus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Maroko. Nama ilmiah Ptilostemon leptophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlos Pau pada tahun 1973.
