Pycnanthus microcephalus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myristicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Pycnanthus microcephalus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1895.
