Pyrrocoma crocea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan curlyhead goldenweed. Nama ilmiah Pyrrocoma crocea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1894.
