Pyrus eldarica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Transkaukasia. Nama ilmiah Pyrus eldarica diperkenalkan oleh Alexander Alfonsovich Grossheim pada tahun 1944.
