Qualea calantha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Vochysiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru (Loreto). Nama ilmiah Qualea calantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Knud Friedrich Pilger pada tahun 1931.
