Quercus griffithii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga China selatan dan Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Quercus griffithii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1864.
