Quercus hintonii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Michoacán, México State). Nama ilmiah Quercus hintonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edmund Frederic Warburg pada tahun 1939.
