Quercus macrocalyx merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China selatan hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Quercus macrocalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Robert Hickel pada tahun 1921.
