Quercus pannosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah China (Yunnan, Sichuan). Nama ilmiah Quercus pannosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Raphael Eduard Handel-Mazzetti pada tahun 1929.
