Quercus spinosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China bagian tengah, Myanmar, hingga Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Quercus spinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Armand David pada tahun 1884.
