Quercus vaseyana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sandpaper oak. Nama ilmiah Quercus vaseyana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Samuel Botsford Buckley pada tahun 1883.
